Happy Hour #74 is with Danielle Walker, the voice behind the very popular site Against All Grain.

On the show, Danielle shares about her auto-immune disorder and how she was able to tackle it with diet changes, and ultimately a lifestyle change. Her grain-free recipes have become wildly popular now, but you’ll love hearing how she got started and her stories about testing her recipes on her husband and son. She talks about how she manages birthday parties, nursing and celebrations while still maintaining their grain-free lives. For those of you that struggle with food-related illnesses or are just on the fence about taking a plunge into a eating lifestyle change like this, you won’t want to miss Danielle’s thoughts and tips on how to get started.

And lastly, I am so grateful that Danielle shared her story about losing her daughter only 35 minutes after birth. She talks about how she and her husband wrestled with terminating her pregnancy after a likely fatal diagnosis at 21 weeks, but ultimately chose to carry the baby. As many of us have walked alongside someone as they have suffered great loss, Danielle’s wisdom on what to say and what not to say in those moments is so helpful.
