THE HAPPY HOUR #540: 2022 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE

WHAT YOU WILL HEAR:

It’s time again for one of my favorite things we do all year – the Holiday Gift Guide! Our team has been in the Christmas spirit since August as we’ve worked to pull together this year’s Gift Guide, and we’re thrilled to share it with you today.

This year’s Gift Guide includes small and woman-owned businesses, ethically made products, companies with give-back models, and cause- or faith-based companies. As you’re planning your holiday shopping, our hope is that you’ll shop small and support these incredible people!

We had the best time in early October at our Holiday Gift Guide LIVE! Event, and we captured all the fun through a podcast recording and YouTube video. In listening or watching, you’ll learn even more about these amazing brands and their products… plus these brands have exclusive discounts mentioned ONLY in the podcast + video content, so you’ll want to be sure and write those down too!

Happy shopping, friends, and merry (early) Christmas!

Owner and maker Amy Bierstedt has developed natural, non-toxic home, bath, and body products with the goal of providing goods that are better for your home, your health, your family, and our planet. Amy’s all-purpose salve was the reason she started her business, developing it for her son’s skin condition. She found that friends and family were seeing amazing results with it too! The simple formula of soothing beeswax and essential oils has helped customers soothe and care for dry skin, cracked heels, eczema, rashes, burns, diaper rash, cuticle care, and more.

Mended is a social impact business working with survivors of modern-day slavery to hand block textiles for the global conscious customer. Mended works with 18 survivor artisans in South Asia in hopes that this meaningful, sustainable work can play a role in their restoration. The company believes that the process of a hand-carved wooden block being dipped into dye and then hand-stamped over and over on each individual textile makes each piece unique and imperfectly perfect.
